About Central Little League

Duluth Central Little League is a non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to provide a safe, instructional and fun environment for children ages 4-12 in the Central Hillside, Duluth Heights, Congdon and Park Point communities of Duluth as well as students attending Congdon Park, Lowell, Myers-Wilkins, Northstar Academy, Holy Rosary, Marshall, Ordean East Schools (children residing in or attending schools within the Central Little League boundaries are eligible to play for Duluth Central Little League - see map).  Central Little League is chartered under the umbrella of Little League International, Inc. and Little League District 3 of Minnesota.

All league personnel are volunteers interested in providing the benefits of a Little League program to the youth of their community. Each volunteer completes an annual volunteer application and submit to a national criminal background check to be eligible to participate as a league volunteer.

Central Little League is guided by a Board of Directors.

Player Divisions


Tee Ball Baseball is for boys and girls 4-5 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. The primary goals of Tee Ball are to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow them to experience the value of teamwork.


Instructional Minors:
Instructional Minors is for boys and girls 6-8 years old with limited playing experience. This is a coach-pitch division.


The Minors is a non-tryout division for boys and girls 8-10 years old.  This division is a combination of coach-pitch and player-pitch.


The Little League Baseball Division (also known as the Major Division) is a try-out division for boys and girls ages 10-12.
